Filters, price rules and stock mapping
Choose which products enter a feed and with which price and availability: conditions, markup, VAT and rounding, markets, stock states.
Setup Requires the free plan or higher Verified: October 2026 · v0.1 Draft
Draft: written from the product plan before launch. Screenshots are added when the app is released and the steps are re-verified.
A feed starts with every active product in its market. Two places narrow and adjust it: the feed form’s Product selection switches, and Filters, saved rule sets that you apply to one or more feeds. A filter holds conditions (which products), price rules (which number) and field templates (which text). When you save a filter, every linked feed is generated again.
Which products are in a feed
These are always left out, and the feed detail page lists them under Issues in the last run:
- Products that are not active in Shopify (draft or archived).
- Products not published in the feed’s market, or with no price in that market (Not published in this market).
On the feed form under Product selection:
- Leave gift cards out: on by default.
- Leave out-of-stock products out: off by default, and not recommended. Channels prefer an item marked out of stock to one that disappears.
Filters: conditions
Open Filters, choose Create filter and give it a name. Under Rules, pick whether Matching products are included or excluded, then build the conditions:
- Field: Product title, Vendor, Product type, Tags, Collections, Product status, Category, SKU, Price, Compare-at price, Inventory, Available for sale, Barcode, Weight.
- Condition: equals, is not, is one of, is none of, contains, does not contain, starts with, matches (a regular expression), greater than, at least, less than, at most, is empty, is not empty.
- Conditions inside a group combine with AND (Add rule). Groups combine with OR (Add group).
Conditions check each variant, so “Inventory at least 1” keeps the sizes that are in stock and leaves out the rest.
Then, under Apply to feeds, tick the feeds the filter should apply to. You can also tick filters on the feed form, in its Filters step. A filter that is switched off (Active off) stays saved but changes no feed.
Price rules
Price rules apply in order to the price and the compare-at price:
| Rule | What it does | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Add percentage (%) | Adds a percentage | Marketplace fee, for example +5% |
| Add fixed amount | Adds an amount in the feed currency | Packaging or shipping cost |
| Add VAT (%) | Multiplies by (1 + rate) | Store prices entered without VAT |
| Remove VAT (%) | Divides by (1 + rate) | A channel that wants net prices |
| Round | End in .90, End in .99, Whole number (.00), Nearest 1, Nearest 5, Nearest 10, Round up, Round down | Price endings |
| Minimum price | Raises a lower price to the amount | Protect margins after discounts |
Put Round last, after markups and VAT. Otherwise a later rule moves the ending again. The price written to the feed is the price after all rules. The product in Shopify does not change.
VAT
The app writes the price Shopify shows for the market. It does not add or remove VAT on its own. Cimri and Akakçe need prices that include VAT, and so do Google and Meta outside the US and Canada. If your store’s prices exclude VAT, add an Add VAT (%) rule with your rate, for example 20.
Compare-at prices
When a variant’s compare-at price is above its price, the feed sends the compare-at price as the regular price and the price as the sale price, in the channel’s own fields. Price rules apply to both.
Markets and currencies
Each feed targets one market: the Market you choose on the feed form. The feed writes the market price and currency from Shopify Markets for every variant, so a Germany feed carries EUR and a Türkiye feed carries TRY. For three countries you create three feeds. How many markets you can use depends on your plan (plans).
Stock and availability
| Shopify state | Feed value |
|---|---|
| Quantity above 0, available for sale | in stock |
| Quantity not tracked, available for sale | in stock |
| Quantity 0 or below, “Continue selling when out of stock” off | out of stock |
| Quantity 0 or below, “Continue selling” on | backorder on Google; in stock on channels without a backorder value |
Product tagged preorder | preorder on Google and Cimri; in stock on Meta |
Akakçe receives the quantity itself; see Set up a feed for Akakçe. Stock changes in Shopify reach the feed within minutes, without waiting for the next scheduled refresh.
Field templates
To change the text sent to the channel (titles, brand, product type, Google product category or custom labels), add Field templates to a filter. See Field templates.
Check that it works
- On the feed detail page, Products in feed and Left out match what you expect.
- Open the feed URL and look at two or three items: the price, the sale price and the availability.
- After the channel’s next fetch, check its diagnostics for the new values.
