A TikTok Ads catalog powers Video Shopping Ads and dynamic ads. The TikTok Ads profile writes Google-style RSS 2.0 with sku_id as the primary key and TikTok’s availability vocabulary. This is the ads catalog; TikTok Shop, the seller side, takes products through its own API and not through feeds.
Before you start
- A TikTok for Business account with access to Ads Manager and a catalog, or permission to create one.
- A catalog whose currency and target country match the feed’s market; TikTok allows one currency and one country per catalog.
- Products with a brand;
brandandconditionare required.
1. Create the feed in Buinbu
- Open Export, choose Create feed and pick TikTok Ads on Feed templates.
- Under Feed name and market pick the Market (country) that matches the catalog’s country and keep Currency on that market’s currency. A mismatch makes the run fail with Currency mismatch.
- Keep Leave gift cards out on, tick filters if you need them, set the Refresh frequency and choose Create feed.
2. Copy the feed URL
On the feed page, under Feed URL, choose Copy URL.
3. Add the feed in Ads Manager
- In Ads Manager open Assets → Catalogs, open or create the catalog and choose to add products from a data feed with a scheduled fetch.
- Paste the URL; TikTok fetches over HTTPS without credentials.
- Set the schedule (hourly or daily) and the update mode. Overwrite mirrors the file; Incremental adds and updates without deleting.
- Run Check files on the URL once: it lists missing or invalid fields before the first import.
4. Wait for the first fetch and review
The first fetch starts right away. Review the catalog’s product list for items with an error status and fix the fields they name. In Buinbu the feed page reads “Last fetched: … · TikTok” once TikTok has downloaded the file.
